Irregular Pearl
from inside women's spaces
Hadley’s Orient Hotel interior ornamentation echoed through the elaborate, decorative, excess and unpredictability of baroque music played live in-situ by Duo Antiqua. Inside, below I draw their music as it twines and flows through deeper spaces.
* The term baroque comes from the Portuguese word barroco meaning misshapen pearl - irregular pearl
